Help spread the word

The Arkansas Division of Aeronautics is analyzing a need for an expanded or new commercial service airport in the Northeast Arkansas region. This would be a tremendous benefit for all of Northeast Arkansas. The 19 Counties included in their study are shown in the attached photo.

Blake Roberson, PE Regional Aviation Leader for Garver, has asked us for assistance in spreading the word.

There will be two regional meetings scheduled for the Northeast Regional Airport Study.

*It is very important for us to attend these meetings to show our support for a Northeast Arkansas Airport!*

The meeting dates are as follows:

March 20 – 3:00 p.m. at Black River Technical College –

Pocahontas Room, Pocahontas, AR

April 6th – 2:00 p.m. Wynne City Hall, Wynne, Arkansas

There will be a short presentation by Blake Roberson, then an open floor format. Blake will also be sharing information about their website where you can go for more information and make comments. https://near-ana.airportplans.com/

At this time, the meetings are not about a possible location, but to determine if there enough need for a Northeast Arkansas Airport.
