Responsibilities: Process invoices for payment and prepare accounts payable checks for the College; ensure an efficient, courteous, and customer-focused office environment; prepare monthly and quarterly reports; provide general administrative support for the Finance Office which shall include, but is not limited to: document scanning and indexing, account reconciliations and other duties as assigned.

This position reports to the Business Manager and serves as backup to the cashier.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma, with associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred; one or more years of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting and/or administrative support skills; excellent telephone and computer application skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements.

Ideal candidate will: be organized and friendly; possess attention to detail; have the ability to multi-task and execute responsibilities accurately with minimal follow-up; must have a working knowledge of general office and record-keeping procedures, standard office equipment, and basic mathematical calculations.

Salary & Benefits:  This is a classified position with a starting salary of $25,773 with a full benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance and a retirement plan.
