A cold second half of shooting doomed the Williams men's basketball team as they lost 87-61 to the (RV) Iowa Wesleyan Tigers.
The Eagles kept pace with the Tigers for most of the first half, going into halftime trailing by six, 44-38. But the Tigers came out strong in the second half and outscored the Eagles by twenty, 43-23.
Williams shot 35% from the field (19-55), 63% from the three-point line (10-16), and 65% from the free-throw line (9-14).
Duke Hardin and Ben Keton both led the team with 18 points.
Isaiah Thompson led the team on the boards with 10.
