Ultimately a Mayor is responsible for all actions and decisions in the city, no matter what the outcome. Canceling the Walnut Ridge and Hoxie Christmas parade the day before the parade ended up being a bad decision. That’s the thing about decisions, we only know the outcome after the decision was made.
For 2023 we will bring the Christmas Parade back! And next year I plan to include an alternate date, just in case the first date is cancelled due to weather.
