ARKANSAS NORTHEASTERN COLLEGE: Retro Halloween Movie Night to be held Oct. 29

Next Saturday, October 29th! Don't miss out.

Retro Halloween Movie Night

The Arts Council of Mississippi County invites you to attend a fun event---a Retro Halloween Movie Double Feature scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Adams/Vines Recital Hall of Arkansas Northeastern College,

The first feature will be the 1960 original version of “The Little Shop of Horrors” which will begin at 7:00 PM. This is the grandfather of the 1980 musical off-Broadway version and the 1986 film version. Sylvester works in a skid row florist shop and is in love with co-worker Audrey. He creates a new plant which not only talks, but cannot live without human flesh and blood. Although that sounds horrible, the show is a comedy, fun for all ages.

The second feature, “Night of the Living Dead,” released in 1968, will begin at 8:30 PM. The story is about a ragtag group of rural Pennsylvanians who barricade themselves in an old farmhouse to remain safe from a horde of flesh eating ghouls that are ravaging the East Coast. The ghouls will not stay dead, and search for new bodies This one is not for the faint of heart, unless of course, you are a zombie.

The price is as old as the movies, only $1.00 per person per movie. For additional information call 870-762-1020. Get your friends together and share the fun.
