The (18) Williams men's soccer team saw big offensive success on Tuesday afternoon as they defeated the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy (UHSP) Eutectics 12-0.
It took the Eagles a minute to settle into the game, but once UHSP scored an own goal in the 18th minute to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead, it was like a dam had opened and goals came pouring out. Jacobo Obradors scored the second goal off a pass from Tiago Alfieri in the 24th minute and then again 40 seconds later. Gabriel Otero scored the fourth goal in the 29th minute. Adrian Briceno scored the fifth goal in the 34th minute, and Gonzalo Gaubeka scored the sixth in the 40th minute off a pass from Briceno.
Briceno got the scoring started in the second half with the Eagles' seventh goal in the 48th minute off a pass from Fernando Paya. Andre Akabane scored the eighth goal off a pass from Ivan Perez in the 57th minute. Emmanuel Devolder scored the ninth goal in the 76th minute off a pass from Jesus Mendoza and then the tenth goal in the 78th minute off a pass from Alfonso Madrigal. Alfieri scored the eleventh goal off a pass from Gabriel de Paula in the 84th minute. Finally, Perez scored the twelfth goal off a pass from Alfieri in the 87th minute.
Alejandro Perez played the first half in the goal for the Eagles. Rodrigo Pina played the second half in goal and collected one save.
