CITY OF BLYTHEVILLE: Attention Blytheville

Please see advanced notification below from Visu-Sewer.

Dear Resident;

Visu-Sewer has been contracted by your municipality to inspect and rehabilitate sewer lines in your neighborhood.

We will be in the area through the end of April 2023 working in sewer easements either in the street or backyards.

All of our employees will be wearing hardhats, green traffic control vests, and have company photo identification cards as a means to distinguish them as our employees. Please feel free to request their identification card and call our office at one of the number listed below to verify that person. This is a multi-stage project with our crews first cleaning, inspecting , and measuring all the sewer lines to determine corrective measures required to repair the sewer. At a later date we will be back onsite to complete the needed repairs to the sewers that are found defective. This will be the time that we will require no sewage flows from you homes. We will not be posting notices on the days of cleaning and inspection, however, if you have had problems in the past with sewerage backups during sewer cleaning operations, we request that you call our office at the toll free number below and give us your address and contact information so we can make contact prior to working on your line segment. Additionally, during the cleaning/inspection stage of the project it may be determined that your home does not flow into one of the effected sewer lines so it is possible that this may be the only notification that you will receive. Our personnel may also be knocking on individual doors during the cleaning/ inspection phase requesting you to flush small amounts of water down your line for verification of your connection. They will NOT request to enter your homes. Should someone make this request, assume that they are not one of our employees and immediately report this person to your local police department.

As part of the rehabilitation process, we will require periods of no water flow from your residences. We will place announcements on your front doors the day before we need you to not use water, and will knock on your door prior to blocking off of your service lateral on those days. If you are not at home when we need no water flow we will hang a notice on your door when the line is blocked off and again the separate notice that it is ok to use water again. At no time will water use be restricted overnight. Should you have special needs requiring additional warning notification, please call our office at the toll free number below and give us your address and contact information and we will make all possible effort to comply with your needs.

NOTE: We will only post the front door of your home, not side or rear entrances, so be alert for the postings should you see a Visu-Sewer truck in your neighborhood.

We must have access to all backyard easements during the repair process. Please be sure to keep all pets restrained and out of the backyard on the day we will be working in your area. This is for your pet's safety as well as the safety of our crews. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our office at one of the numbers below.

Visu-Sewer's contacts for this project are Matthew Johnson and Brett Rae.
