City of West Memphis issued the following announcement on June 14.

All-City of #WestMemphis offices will be closed on Monday, June 20, in observance of Juneteenth. Juneteenth honors the day when enslaved Americans learned of their freedom, which is an important moment in American history, and became a legal holiday in West Memphis last year.
As a result, sanitation crews will collect both Monday and Tuesday routes on Tuesday, June 21.
The regular schedule resumes on Wednesday, June 22.
