Of the 2,610 people living in Hoxie city in 2020, 54.5 percent (1,422) were women and 45.5 percent (1,188) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Upper Delta News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 161. In the 65 and over age range, there were 267 females and 227 males.
