CITY OF BLYTHEVILLE: 8th Annual Fishing Rodeo to be May 21st, 2022

Fishing 101 program

City of Blytheville issued the following announcement on April 19.

The City of Blytheville will be hosting our 8th Annual Fishing Rodeo on May 21st, 2022 at Walker Park Pond! Registration will begin at 6 a.m. The rodeo will be for ages 15 and under. Adults are only allowed to assist the youth with fishing. Prizes will be given for the first fish caught, the biggest fish caught and the most fish caught. So, come on out, bring your best bait, lawn chair and your favorite fishing pole and help the anglers have a great time. Fishing will begin at 7a.m. and end at 12 noon! Food trucks are welcome if you have been approved by the department of health. No permit will be needed for this ONE day event.
