Blytheville High School a New Tech School issued the following announcement on April 15.
Students participated in Educator Signing Week at Blytheville High School on April 13th. Students involved in this commitment signing event were McKenna Dunham, Ceazia Williams, Arasellie Lendennie, and Magdalena Garcia. Students committed to a path in education and will pursue careers in teaching. They participated in the Foundations of Education class this year using the Educators Rising curriculum. This coming fall, Educators Rising will be a part of the Teach Arkansas Initiative. The goal of the program is to recruit as many interested students as possible, and to provide a pathway to teaching. Educators Rising is part of Phi Delta Kappa International. April 11-15, 2022, is Signing Week across Arkansas.
