Arkansas State University-Newport issued the following announcement on Mar. 18.
Today we celebrate the naming of ASUN’s High Voltage Lineman Technology Education Building in honor of the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas and our 18-year partnership. Since the programs’ inception, the Co-op has provided nearly $1.5 million in scholarships to our students, as well as countless internships and job opportunities. Thank you to the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas for their continued support of this program!
