ARKANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY-NEWPORT: Hiring-Professional Academic Advisor

Arkansas State University-Newport issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.

Arkansas State University - Newport (ASUN) is seeking applications for the position of Professional Academic Advisor.

The Professional Academic Advisor provides and promotes holistic academic advising and student success services and support. This position assists students with making informed decisions concerning their educational goals and also serves as a liaison between students, various ASUN departments, and the community. The Professional Academic Advisor will be housed on the ASUN Jonesboro campus and will regularly travel to the ASUN Marked Tree campus.

Education and Experience Requirements;

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two years of experience in Academic Advising or other Student Academic Success Programs, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Salary & Benefits:

The annual salary for this position is $30,000.
