Walnut Ridge issued the following announcement on Feb. 3.
Here’s an excellent example of the advantages of pretreating secondary bridges in Walnut Ridge. This is the Village Creek BRIDGE AT Free Street. It was pretreated around 4 pm yesterday, then hit with a plow first thing this morning. Hats off to members from the street department for running after hours to try and keep the city operational. Snow Plows and spreader trucks will continue to run throughout the daylight hours in Walnut Ridge today. Thursday’s trash route is on schedule and we are planning on maintaining Friday’s trash run as well.
