City of West Memphis issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.
Due to the continued icy road conditions, all City of West Memphis offices will remain closed Friday, February 4.
West Memphis Utilities restoration crews are ready to safely address outages should they occur restoration.
To report power outages, West Memphis Utilities may be reached at (870) 735-3355 (option 2)
All emergency services will operate on normal schedules.
Sanitation crews will work extended hours and weekends to ensure we catch up on garbage collection. To avoid a missed collection, the Public Works Department urges customers to roll their carts to the curb for pickup if at all possible.
Please ensure garbage containers are upright and spaced, and please continue to be patient as sanitation crews work with frozen equipment and icy conditions.
West Memphis District Court will be delayed until 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 4th. City Dockets will be called before State Dockets so please be prepared to wait. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.
