Williams Baptist College Athletics issued the following announcement on Dec. 17.
The Lady Eagles played a tight first quarter that saw Williams with a one-point lead. They outsored the Bulldogs by nine in the second quarter to take a ten-point lead into halftime. They held on to their lead throughout the second half of the game and defeated the Bulldogs by 14.
Williams shot 55.4% from the field (41-74), 40% from the three-point line (4-10), and 55.6% from the free-throw line (15-27).
Taylor Freeman recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 26 points and 13 rebounds.
Kaylee Clark led all scorers with 27 pts. Nya Moody and Jhiya Jefferson were also in double figures with 18 and 10 pts respectively.
Freeman led the team on the boards with 13, while Tristan Richards also had 10.
