Williams Baptist University issued the following announcement on Nov. 22.
The Lady Eagles lost to the Toppers 87-79 back on Nov. 2 at their place. In that game, Williams had a lead going into the fourth quarter but saw it slip away to the home team. That was not the case today as the Lady Eagles had a four point lead after the first quarter and then went off and outscored the Toppers 32-11 in the second. The Lady Eagles kept their foot on the gas this time and were able to blow out the Toppers 105-73.
Bland scored her fourth double-double of the season with 21 pts and 18 rebs.
Kaylee Clark came off the bench and scored 20 pts to lead all scorers. That is a career-high for Clark.
Italei Gray and Taylor Freeman both had 14 pts, while Reesa Hampton had 13.
Freeman also had six steals and six assists in the game.
