City of West Memphis issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.
On behalf of Mayor McClendon and the City of West Memphis we would like to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all West Memphis residents. We are so thankful for our City family members, first responders and frontline workers who continue to make sacrifices everyday and work hard to provide excellent service and amenities you deserve.
As we celebrate this Thanksgiving, please remember those in our community who are less fortunate, it continues to be a very difficult year for all of us, but especially for those in need. Let’s keep our #winningstreak alive as one West Memphis and have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
All-City of West Memphis offices will be closed on Thursday, November 25th, and Friday, November 26th so our employees can enjoy this special time with their families. We will be reopened as usual on Monday, November 29th.
All emergency services will operate on normal schedules.
West Memphis Utilities after-hours outages may be reached at (870) 735-3355 (option 2)
