City of Black Rock issued the following announcement Nov. 13.
The Black Rock Christmas Parade will be held December 4th at 6:00 pm. We will be lining up the floats in the Mt. Vernon lower parking lot. Cars, tractors, side by sides will line up on St. Joseph Street and the upper parking lot of Mt. Vernon.
So, get those floats built, cars and trucks shined and lit up. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
Route will start at Mt. Vernon, going down Elm St, coming back on Main Street and ending back at Mt. Vernon Church.
Line-up will start at 5:00pm.
If weather is uncooperative, parade will not be rescheduled.
