Walnut Ridge issued the following announcement on July 16.
Street lights are not free and the City is charged for them, even if they aren't burning.
If you live inside the city limits of Walnut Ridge and your street light is out, please contact City Hall at 870-886-6638 and provide us with the physical address and the pole number. The pole number is a necessity for us to report the light.
Lights that belong to Entergy have the large yellow number set on them. Lights belonging to Craighead Electric have small white tags. Samples of both tag sets are shown in these photos.
