56 percent of applicants to Williams Baptist College were admitted for fall 2018

At Williams Baptist College, 95 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Walnut Ridge enrolled 496 students in fall 2018, including 479 in undergraduate and 17 in graduate programs, data shows. 9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

67 percent of undergraduates are residents of Arkansas, and 28 percent are residents of other states. 6 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (73 percent) and Black or African American (12 percent).

The school admitted 56 percent of the 775 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 36 percent enrolled.
